The owners have other restaurants in the New York area. This location opened in early 1999. Wood and burlap are used to good effect to make for a warm and pleasant dining room. The menu features a variety of Kababs: shrimp and fish join the usual chicken, beef and lamb. The grilling is reputed to be on wood charcoal. Pumpkin joins the usual eggplant, okra, and spinach on the vegetable side of the menu.

Took half an hour to order on the phone due to the fact that no-one at the restaurant spoke English!! Stressful experience, definitely not ordering from them again. Tip to the staff; learn English. |
